The Dream……..

Pastor Amanda had a dream that she and Pastor Antione were side by side in an orchard with miles of different types of trees. It was something different about the fruit. The trees were quickly producing fruit. She saw fruit being pulled and immediately another fruit grew in its place. Some of the fruit where on the ground and people from different nationalities were eating the fruit. She shared the dream with Pastor Antione, and they began seeking God for His will for their lives. In 2019 the two started having bible study and worship services in their home. The two completed their Church Planting training and were released to officially plant 2:TEN church on May 28, 2020. On June 14th, 2020, they conducted their first worship services on the ASU campus at the Christian Campus Center (C3). As the ministry grew, they moved to the Graduate Hotel’s ballroom on October 11th, 2020.

The timing of God is always perfect. The earth was experiencing a worldwide pandemic. There was a more visual display of racial divide and injustice. Our nation was engaging in immigration issues, national protest, mass killing and increase in suicide. The unrest caused an economic down fall, loss in jobs and mental health issues. The mission of the Church was simple - to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ unto salvation and inspire life changing transformation by helping individuals discover and live out their God given purpose. The two were to let people know their identity in Christ. We all are God’s masterpiece, He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.

The Decision …….

In 2021 a Church building was made available through The Assemblies of God. Because Pastors Antione and Amanda were faithful to God, God was faithful to them. God led the leadership selection team to bless the Andersons with the building. They were able to see God working on their behalf years ago. The area where the church sits was once and orchard with miles of fruit trees. 2:TEN moved into the current building located at 775 E. Baseline, Phoenix, AZ 85042 on April 18th, 2021.

The Development

God knew before they were born the call He had on their lives. Throughout their lives He prepared them for purpose. Pastor Antione and Amanda Anderson have been married for 15 years and have a blended family of 5. They have three children: Kiara, Antione “AJ”, & Aliyah.   They believe the greatest witness to our personal relationship with Jesus Christ is our pursuit and discovery of God’s plan for our lives, while walking in relationship and sharing life with others. The two were blessed with the opportunity to serve under Pastor Aubrey Barnwell and Lady Linda Barnwell for over 10 years. During that time, they were blessed to take classes and receive training that adequately prepared them for the work God had in store for them.

The Disciples

Pastor’s Antione & Amanda are equipping others to walk in purpose and change the world. The church grew to over 26 families, with a total of over 75 people in our main and online campus in the first 6 months. Over the course of our first year, 2:TEN Church has been able to see 10 decisions for Christ accompanied by 10 baptism. During our first year, 2:TEN has been able to bless men and women by donating over 600 pairs of socks to Teen Challenge of Arizona and Casa Fenix.
